
Normally, I only like cabbage as a salad, but once I’ve tasted roasted cabbage, I was absolutely surprised at how good it tastes.
Ingredients
- 1 head cabbage
- olive oil
- black pepper
- salt
- seasoning mix
Instructions
- Remove the outer leaves, halve it and cut out the stalk. Then cut the halves into slices two to three centimeters thick and put them on a skewer so that all parts of the cabbage are skewered. You can also use the grill or in the open. Then brush the cabbage slices with olive oil and sprinkle them with salt on both sides.
- Now you can put them on the grill and let them cook in a moderate temperature zone (without coal or gas flame). If you grill with the lid closed, you don’t even have to turn the cabbage over, otherwise, you should do it occasionally to make it cook evenly.
- When the cabbage is soft, season it with a little salt and freshly ground pepper and place it on the plate as a side dish with the grilled meat.
